The Abilene Philharmonic celebrates spring by moving back outdoors. "Jazz in the Park" begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Abilene Zoo. For two early autumns during the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, the Phil held events at the zoo that drew about 400 folks each time. Cost is $20 per person, or $5 for students. Children age 5 and under are free. Abilene Philharmonic musicians will perform with guest singer Kelli Rabke, who was here during the 2021-22 season for the music of "Wicked" and "The Wizard of Oz.
