ABILENE, Texas — 'I look at my watch and three hours later my car has a ticket on it,' said Allen Ledbetter, a resident of Abilene. Downtown Abilene seems like the place to be. There is tons of entertainment, food, and activities. The events and activities are going to continue to expand with more projects coming to the Big Country. However, there is one downside to downtown, and that's parking tickets. Ledbetter has been concerned about the parking ticketing that happens in the downtown area. So far this year he has already received two parking tickets that he had to fight.
