Victories were celebrated all Saturday morning at Wildcat Stadium on the Abilene Christian University campus. There, Special Olympics Texas partnered with law enforcement and the military community for the Guardian Games on the football field. Lisa Rinker, development director for Special Olympics Texas, said 32 teams of four, or 128 athletes, competed, along with many volunteers assisting as well. 'We had teams coming from as far as San Angelo, Eula, and Anson represented today, and then a great group from Abilene,' she said.
