Jonathan Patrick, an assistant principal at Abilene High School, will begin the 2023-24 school year as principal of Clack Middle School, the Abilene ISD announced late Tuesday. Patrick has been part of the AISD since 2020. He succeeds Dr. Christopher Bailey, who has taken the role as executive director of behavior and students supports for the district. Before coming to Abilene, Patrick was K-12 principal for the Dawson ISD, where he also was athletic director and discipline coordinator. Dawson is between Waco and Corsicana in East Texas.
